Make sure you get the most from your visit to the college fairs. There is much to be gained if you take advantage of what is there for you.
It’s a great time to get applications if you need them and to get some questions answered. By talking to a variety of admission counselors
and learning about different colleges, your decision may be made easier.
College reps can be very helpful and they often can answer questions that are not answered in bulletins or brochures. Take advantage of this
opportunity, show your interest and ask questions that are important to you.

1. What is the average class size?
2. Is public transportation available?
3. Is there enough housing available for students who want to live on campus?
4. Does the school have a Placement Office to help students find jobs?
5. Does the college give credit for the Advanced Placement Examination?
6. Are academic or athletic scholarships available?
7. How can I arrange a campus visit?
8. Are interviews required or offered?
9. How many of last years freshman class returned for their sophomore year?
10. How are roommates selected? If you want to change roommates, when can you do that?
11. How safe is the school? Are there campus guards available at night?
12. Do most of the students stay on campus on weekends or go home?
13. Can you have a car on campus?
14. Do you offer tutoring services for students if they need help?
15. Do you offer special living arrangements like no smoking dorms, co-ed dorms, single sex dorms?
16. What is the average GPA of a typical freshman class?
17. Are there many on-campus events? Like what?
18. What kind of school spirit do the students have?
